Sahih Muslim is the second most authentic book of Hadith after Sahih al Bukhari and one of the six canonical collections known as Sahah e Sitta. It was compiled by Imam Muslim bin al Hajjaj al Naysaburi (202 AH to 261 AH), who sifted roughly three hundred thousand narrations and admitted only those that met his own strict conditions of continuous, verified transmission.
