Abu Isa Muhammad ibn Isa Tirmidhi was a renowned Islamic scholar and compiler of one of the six major collections of Hadith, known as Jami at-Tirmidhi. Born in 209 AH (824 CE) in Tirmidh, present-day Uzbekistan, Imam Tirmidhi dedicated his life to the collection, verification, and preservation of the sayings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
